Remembering Carol Turner

On 29 February 2020, our lives changed when our beautiful daughter Carol passed away. It was a shock when the doctor told us that they could do nothing more for her and that we had to take her to Myton Hospice.
From the moment we got there, the care that they showed was brilliant, not just to Carol but to all of us especially her children. They took the time to talk to them which meant a lot, especially to her 14 year old son Dan, it was a lot to take in. They provided us with a bed so we could stop and always offered us cups of tea even when there were loads of visitors around.
Up to the morning Carol passed away, we were comforted that there was no pain and they did all they could do to keep her dignity to the very end. Nobody could have done more than the staff did and we can't praise and thank them enough.
