Walk the Wight 2015 · 10 May 2015 ·

Mountbatten is the Isle of Wight's only hospice and is known for innovation across the UK and beyond. We provide expert medical, nursing and domiciliary end of life care and bereavement support to people in their own homes, including care homes, in our Newport building and in the local hospital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My Sister, Sister-in-law and neice and I are Walking the Wight in memory of Bob.  My husband, a Brother, a Brother-in-law and an Uncle who meant so much to all of us.

Bob loved Fools and Horses.  So our team is the Jolly Girls.  We are on the Jolly Boys sorry Jolly Girls Outing.  Can you sense a theme coming on!

(for those that dont know the Jolly Boys Outing was a fools and horses christmas special that Bob particulary enjoyed).

We are raising money for the Hospice to give somthing back.  They looked after Bob during his short illness late last year.  They also supported me then and are still supporting me now.  Their support has been inmeasurable.  Words are not enough.
