For some reason last year I decided that it was a good idea to put my name in the ballot for the London Marathon and somehow I got a place! 

It is my first full marathon and I have decided to therefore raise some money for the Sunderland and Gateshead Girls Centre of Excellence which provides a fantastic opportunity for Girls from 7-17 years old to take part in the programme. 

Any money raised will help with running costs for training facilities, equipment and transport for away games.
