Story

6 years ago I ran a half marathon & said never again.  Somehow in what I can only describe as a moment of insanity I've signed up for it again!

Although I am doing this as a personal challenge, it will give me extra motivation to know I've raised some money for a great cause.

Last year two big influences in my life lost their long & courageous battle with cancer.  They were diagnosed within months of each other and died within weeks of each other.

My Uncle David was always there and always knew how to fix everything!  Nothing was too much trouble and he was always helping other people.

Rodney Williams was the owner of the company I work for, a great business man who taught me a lot about how to run a successful company, a legacy I am proud to be a part of today.

Both David & Rod were what only can be described as true gentlemen, both extremely generous and I like to think that wherever they are now they have met up for a drink and to reminisce about the good old days.

St Lukes Hospice in Plymouth provide great support for those with cancer and their families.  Rod spent his last few days receiving their first class care and I know whatever I raise will be appreciated.
