Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Every year, 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke and sadly, in 1989 my grandfather, ‘Grandpa Farm’ suffered a stroke and unfortunately passed away. Throughout my child hood my three elder brothers reminisced on the memories they created with him, and have often spoken of his stern yet playful character and I feel a tinge of sadness that I never had the opportunity to build my own. I will be hoping to conquer Kilimanjaro at the beginning of April in memory of him.

I would be grateful if you would consider sponsoring me; however small, every penny will count.
