I'm raising money for Brain Tumour UK by giving up Facebook for the whole of May! My mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in Dec 2009. Since then she's undergone 2 massive operations, spent 5 months in rehab hospital and has been left with some pretty severe diabilities. I wanted a challenge to raise money for Brain Tumour UK as they do amazing work for people with Brain Tumours and are at the forefront into research into Brain Tumour causes and cures. When I decided I wanted to do something that people could sponser me for to raise funds for Brain Tumour UK, it was a bit of a struggle. I'm not sporty so running marathons, swimming the channel etc is out for me but I love Facebook and spend lots of time networking with friends and family so giving up Facebook will be a real challenge for me. So please sponser me as I give up Facebook for 1 month in May - I'll be disabling my account, my hubby Alan and son  Alexander are going to make sure I stick to it
