Billy asked me to set this page up in memory of his beloved Maggie.

Maggie was one of a kind, a nicer, kinder, more compassionate person you could never meet. She was a shoulder to lean on, with a lovely infectious laugh that made you smile. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was a loving partner to Billy, a proud and loving mum to Jordan and Justin, a wonderful sister to Anne, Jim and Frances, as well as being a great friend and family member. She fought for 5 long months against cancer but in the end her body was just to weak to carry on the fight and she sadly lost her battle far too quickly on the 26th of August 2014. During her illness the Beatson was a source of comfort, giving us some more time to spend with her. We are raising money in Maggie's name for 'The Beatson Pebble Appeal' because we believe more research is needed to beat this terrible disease.
