Story

Thank you for visiting our page!

Caroline and Ollie will be running the Kew Gardens 10K on Saturday 15th September.

They have chosen to fundraise for Bromley Y. Caroline recently completed a four month placement in Psychiatry earlier this year and was particularly affected by the effects of mental health on the local community of young people.

Despite overwhelming statistics, mental health affects 1 in 4 in the UK, mental health services continue to be some of the most poorly funded. In 2014 it was reported that 77% of NHS CCGs had cut or frozen their budgets for child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

Bromley Y is a long established charity which provides access to mental health services for young people aged 0-18. This includes 1:1 therapies such as Guided Self-Help (GSH), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT-A).

Please help Caroline and Ollie raise money to help Bromley Y continue their wonderful work.
