You’ve probably heard about the dire situation in Sri Lanka. The economy has collapsed amid hyper-inflation and fuel shortages. The government has also collapsed and the third sector has had to step in to support people. There’s some brilliant wrk being done to alleviate crisis in the short term - now focus is moving to how to support people in the medium to long term.
Our Dad / Father-In-Law helps run a charity project in Kilonocchi, Northern Sri Lanka. This is an area that was devastated in the civil war. The Food for Work programme - pioneered by our friend Rev. Joshua is focussed on helping people develop small holdings, through grants and skills training. People being able to grow their own for creates a more sustainable local economy in the area while food imports can’t be relied upon , food prices are sky high.
The project is being generously funded by (among others) Leprosy Mission International (LMI). So we want to do our bit by raising some money for them.
The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian development organisation that diagnoses, treats and offers holistic care to people affected by leprosy. Our aim is to transform lives and fight the effects of leprosy - from preventable disability to poverty and discrimination.
We’ve collected a motley crew of artistes and performers across a number of disciplines to create a scratch night / variety evening that we’ll live stream on Zoom.
We've left the brief pretty open to the artists so be prepared for some surprises!

Please donate - we'll be sending the Zoom link for the performance to all donors.
