Carys - Yearly challenge

Carys Birse is raising money for LUPUS UK

100 miles to work in 5 days · 24 June 2018

Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with lupus and helping those being diagnosed. We offer information, resources and medical talks, a free helpline, regional support groups and an online forum with over 32,000 members and a grant programme for research and welfare.

Story

On the 1st of May 2018 someone I love was told they would have to start long term Lupus treatment. I made a promise to them that every year I would take part in an event in the hope of raising awareness and money for Lupus UK. Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue.
