Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge · 29 August 2014 to 30 August 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Sooooo, I'm taking on the momentous challenge (well it is for me) of scaling Ben Nevis for the fabulous Alzheimer's Society. I'm sure we all know at least one person who is affected by this cruel disease and are also aware of the impact it has, not just on the individual but also on their families and loved ones. It is a truly heart breaking condition and the society are funding research to find a cure. Not only this but they provide invaluable support to those affected by the disease.

This challenge is massively out of my comfort zone. My baby will not even be a year old when I do this and  combined with having three lots of surgery since September, I really need to work hard and focus to get fit enough, I PROMISE I will do this. This is a night time challenge, setting off at midnight and those of you who know me that after being burgled in the middle of the night some years ago, I am pretty terrified of the dark!

I have to raise a minimum of £400 to take part but obviously want to raise as much as I can. Therefore, I IMPLORE YOU, please sponsor me! As little as £1 would be amazing. Please dig deep and be generous :)
