Casey's skydiving craziness

Being a parent of a autistic/ADHD child can bee incredibly lonely. All the professionals along the way make you feel like you’re the only person whose child is like yours. You’re made to feel like a failure as a parent by healthcare professionals (I’ve done parenting classes). When you child has a meltdown or becomes overwhelmed you’re judged by those with neurotypical children. I’ve heard awful comments being made by others when my son is in full meltdown mode everyone staring, which is absolutely heartbreaking as they are the times when he’s hurting the most. Caspa gives me a place where I can talk to people who understand, who don’t judge & help lift you up when times are hard. Enable us to venture to places I no longer go on my own. Generally make me feel less alone. Also give my son a place where he doesn’t feel different & one of very few sets of people I trust to care for my son.
