Bath Half Marathon 2018 · 4 March 2018 ·
After my Grandad lost his battle to Cancer in November I decided to run the Bath Half Marathon for Cancer Research. I will be running with my TV work team from Evolutions Bristol & would be extremely grateful with any help with donations.
Those of you who know me, I am not a runner. The most exercise I tend to do is lifting my arm to drink a pint of Thatchers.
Learning that I’d never won a trophy or medal growing up, due to me being ridiculously clumsy, I decided I needed to achieve something which I never thought I could.
Seeing my dad's face as I ran the wrong way on the football pitch to score an own goal at 11 years old was the true highlight to my sporting career - and my Dad's.
Hopefully I won’t trip over my shoe lace and kick my shoe off, as I did during the Year 8 sports day relay race and lost the race for my class - sorry again Dad.
Those of you who can make the 4th of March to watch my bright red face, please greet me at the finish line with a pint of Thatchers and one of those foil blankets ... and a first aid box
xx
