The fund was set up in in memory of my late brother who passed away from meningitis in 2007. Since forming the focus of the SWMF has been on supporting a specific school for boys and girls aged between 3 and 14 years named Joycelands Primary School (“JPS”) in Rongo, Kenya. Not far from the shores of Lake Victoria. The initial project was to set up a borehole. However, with this success, the school has expanded, initially with around 30 pupils, (there are now around 300) and is now benefitting the whole community.

Annie and I have decided to participate in the triathlon and aquathlon next weekend and although we will not be aiming for competitive times any donations will be massively appreciated by both of us and the fund! X
