After getting injured earlier this year and not making the start line for the London Marathon, I decided a half marathon was the most my body could handle in 2014 .

As such, on Sept 7th, I'll be stepping out of my comfort zone (the South), risking nose bleeds, altitude sickness and all manner of other ailments, by heading to Gateshead and lining up for the Great North Run!! 

I'm really proud to be running for Great Ormond St Hospital - an incredible charity that need no introduction - and would like to ask you to spare 5 mins and a few pennies or pounds (preferably the latter) to show a little support! 

To be quite honest, I think me going that far North is deserving enough of donations, let alone the 13.1 miles I'll be running, but if that isn't enough, think of the children your donations will be helping................. :)
