Yesterday I walked through the night (in a tutu) until my feet fell off as part of the Shine Night Walk for Cancer Research UK.  Unfortunately I haven't had time to fundraise for the event because my little cat Lily passed away from lymphoma last Monday.  I proudly completed the walk in her memory, because sleep can wait, beating cancer can't.
