My cousin Kathryn was always one of my biggest supports in my art work. She always encouraged me to go further with my illustration and stay focused. We had dreams together of creating children’s books, she was an amazingly talented author and I was her illustrator. Kathryn supported us all, in our dreams every single day and gave us the encouragement to keep believing in ourselves and each other. 

We all know what happened in Kathryn’s journey. But Kathryn continues to be our greatest support with the best advice for us. Through #bemorekath we have been brought together to celebrate her amazing life and learn from her. If you never met Kathryn take a look at the #bemorekath Facebook group to just get an idea of how inspiring she was.

This October I want us to make a difference together, by being creative and having fun... two things Kathryn would always approve of! I am raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity (Details below) in memory of Kathryn and all those amazing people who have been taken too soon by this condition. 

So what’s the plan? Well if you can make a small donation, I will create a piece of original art for you on a post card in ink (as its INKtober after all) for every donation you make. You can commission what ever you like or if you prefer a digital piece of art like the children’s book illustrations I create, just let me know in the comments.  (Coloured Pencil Pet portraits are unavailable for this due to the amount of time they take up sorry guys.)
