On what will be my 40th birthday, I am running the first leg of the Belfast Marathon (all 6.2 miles of it!) as part of a relay team, in memory of my amazing husband, Robin, who died of a brain tumour in August 2011, aged just 38.  I hope to raise money in support of the Robin Menary Foundation for Brain Tumour Research, which is an umbrella group of Brain Tumour Research, a group of 18 brain tumour charities working together to raise desperately needed funds for research into this deadly disease.
