Trying to find some way of showing our love and memories of our beautiful Ellie and recognising her wonderful life and many talents, John, Ellie's brother, suggested a family triathlon. This seemed like a good idea, as it is a sporty challenge Ellie would have loved to do. If you want, do your own challenge -whatever it is and wherever you are- around the same time.

In doing this we are fund raising for Lilford Ward at Kettering General Hospital, a ward dear to our hearts-whose staff, all without exception, over 9 months continually provided the highest possible level of professional care, support, patience and wisdom while treating Ellie's aggressive lymphoma. Fund raising for Lilford Ward will enable much needed resources to be given to patients at a critical stage of their lives and will also support staff to provide this vital care.

We are going to do a family triathlon in the Lake District over early May bank holiday weekend- planning some outdoor swimming, a cycle ride and a walk/jog.
