I've been working at Welsh Women's Aid for six months now and am extremely passionate about the need to increase awareness of violence against women and girls. There's so much we need to do, from increasing sustainable funding to specialist services to promoting and supporting gender equality and healthy relationships in school. 

My 15-year old son, Callum, is far fitter than me and thinks he can finish this run in about 40 minutes. He's already joked that they'll be packing up by the time I cross that finish line!
