BHF - London to Brighton Bike Ride 2012 · 17 June 2012 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

On the 17th June we will be embarking on the 54mile bike ride from London to Brighton, and now is the time to ask for your support towards our charity - The British Heart Foundation.

Our Team of Four is called WHEELIE TYRED.  It consists of just four people:

Cathryn Whittow-Williams

Mark Whittow-Williams

Rae Whittow-Williams

Will Jefferies

As you can imagine, the 270m high 'Ditchling Beacon' is a slightly worrying prospect at the moment (better crack on with the training!) and I expect that Rae and Will be ahead of us the whole way, with me being in last position... However little do they know - I am planning to sneak up on the rest of the team unnoticed and pip them all at the post at the finish!

We have not made any specific fundraising target but are hoping that as a team we can raise a decent sum for this special charity.

If  you or someone close to you has ever had a heart condition, you'll know a bit about how important the BHF are and how they can help. Not only do they ensure quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease, but they also undertake pioneering research and vital prevention activity to work towards a future where premature heart disease is a thing of the past.

If everyone we know between us each donate just a couple of pounds then we could do quite well.  Please be as generous as you can, we do appreciate how difficult it is for everyone right now, but little donations will go a really long way!

THANKS FOR DONATING - SEE YOU AT THE FINISH LINE!
