Story

Catriona has known Eliza since she was born.  She watched the family go through 2 years of unknown as they were searching for a diagnosis.  Eliza has Retts sydrome which is a rare genetic disorder that only affects girls.  Eliza cannot talk or feed her self and until recently she couldn't walk.  It took years of intense physical therapy for Eliza to learn to walk and just before her 5th birthday she learnt to walk.  Eliza can now walk but she is still very unsteady and needs constant supervision when she is on her feet and can only go very short distances.

Research into curing Retts is looking incredibly promising and there is a real possibility that soon Rett's will be a curable disease.  The money we raise will go towards 'Reverse Rett's' and hopefully one day the story will be different for the girls with Retts.

Any donations however big or small would be greatly appreciated
