Celebration of Jennys Life Donations To Louth Macmillian Palliative Care

Jasmin Bell is raising money for Lincolnshire NHS Charity
In memory of Jenny Hammond
The East Coast Palliative Care Team supports people with cancer or other life limiting conditions, who have complex physical and emotional needs. Funds raised are used to buy items to benefit patients with a palliative end of life diagnosis.

Story

Jenny's wishes were for everyone to give donations instead of flowers.

We have chosen Louth's local macmillian community palliative care team, instead of the national macmillian, as they have been the one constant help and support for Jenny and our family throughout the cancer journey, they are truly amazing people 💜

The community Palliative Care Nurse Specialist Service supports people with cancer or other life limiting conditions, who have complex physical and emotional needs. Clinical nurse specialists are experienced registered nurses who have additional training in cancer and palliative care. They provide specialist information and support where care cannot be easily managed by the patients GP or community nursing team.Funds donated to the East Coast Palliative Care Service provided by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust are used to purchase items to benefit patients with a palliative end of life diagnosis. Your support will help them to continue to purchase items like memory boxes, worry monsters, and bespoke items to help people maintain their independence for as long as possible which will make a real difference to that person.
