At Bishop Gore Sixth Form we are always keen to help out and take part in charity events.

When earlier this year our head boys father died we wanted to do something in memory of him. He was treated at Ty Olwen and we couldn't think of a better charity. When we asked round we found that so many people had had some experience with Ty Olwen, whether it was Grandparents, Parents, Aunts or Uncles we all knew someone who we had loved who had spent some time in Ty Olwen.

There are nine of us completing the expeditioin and in some way we have all had some experience of losing someone we love. 

The Ty Olwen Trust is an amazing cause, the staff are amazing and the care is second to none. Visiting someone you love in hospital is never an easy task but the support that is given not only to the patients but to the families as well is tremendous.

Please give generously and help us fight together so no-one else has to suffer!
