Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Right, Dry January here I come...

Anyone who knows me will know that I love a beverage or 10...

From 1-31 of January I will not be drinking to take part in #DryJanuary in aid of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.

Leckhampton Court Hospice is the only hospice in Gloucestershire with beds, with 16 beds that support the whole county.

Sue Ryder provides incredible care for people with life-changing illnesses. Whether it’s bringing comfort to someone’s final days or enabling them to make the most of their life, they are here for them and their loved ones.

£100 pays for a hospice nurse for a day, £50 provides one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one, £14 pays for one hour of incredible care. All services I've used.

My Dad very sadly passed away in November 2014, after battling with secondary bone cancer and infection. They made the last few months of my Dad's life so much better, to be without my Dad is the most painful thing but we are so grateful that he was happy at Leckhampton Court Hospice.

Wish me luck, sponsor me and follow my tweets @3cmq

Mocktail anyone?
