Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.
On the 15th June a 'pack' of completed the Summer Wolf Run, a 10km assault course through Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and Fields at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire. It was the first time our team consisting of Crysta Campbell, Cat Harmer, Laura Woodhouse, Steve Jones and Corey Still had completed such a distance, never mind the addition of water, mud and climbs.
We thought it was a great way to help raise funds for the University of Leicester Centre for Medicine Appeal which aims to transform medical teaching, research and ultimately patient care by bringing together leading researchers and medical students for the first time under one roof in a new £42m Centre for Medicine and were delighted to exceed our £500 target before the event itself.
We have perhaps foolishly all signed up for the Autumn Wolf Run in Warwickshire on 7 September and are bringing a bigger team with us for the ride. This time Dilys Machin, Katherine Heath and Rosemary Faint are added to the mix bringing our team size to 8 so have decided to continue fundraising for the University of Leicester Centre for Medicine Appeal
So please keep digging deep into your pockets so that when we are digging ourselves out of the mud we know its helping change lives in the future.
Thanks for your support.
