Story

Key members of the Swansea gay scene have joined forces with the sole aim of reconnecting the community. Champers is considered by many as the back bone of the community and back in the 80's and 90's it really was the life & soul. Times move on and sadly the community spirit has faded. Our aim is to reconnect and reunite people of past decades, by organizing reunions and bringing the community back together.

Whilst we're all having a good time, we also aim to raise vital funds for our local hospice Ty Olwen. Champers has a long history of supporting charities and has raised a lot of money over the years for 'Guide Dogs For The Blind' and actually funded the purchase cost and training of 2 Guide Dogs.

The running total raised to date, includes Three Thousand Pounds which was donated to Marie Curie. All ongoing monies raised goes directly to Ty Olwen.
