Enfield Womens Centre is a charity run by selfless women who are committed to the support of all women in Enfield.Their doors are always open to women in need , they have been running this service since 1980 and last year alone they helped over 1500 women. The types of issues women are facing in enfield are Domestic , Violence , Rape , Depression , Bereavement . 

This centre is very low on funds and needs some tender loving care. The centre offer a couselling service , where they provide a space for clients to express their feelings and get support for their issues. They currently have two rooms, one is upstairs and one is in an outhouse which was built prior to fund raising for women with disabilities. This room is inaccessible to the women due to the exterior being uneven and it needs to be re surfaced for wheelchair access. 

The counselling room itself plays an important role , as it becomes the physical "holding environment "where the therapist conveys to the client that she feels safe to explore those areas within herself that are causing distress. However the counselling room does not give this impression to clients and is need of a make over the room is very worn and old (pictures attached), as you can see is not an inviting space that women can enjoy their session in .The centres aim is to provide a welcoming  , nurturing , bright space, with comfortable soft furnishings to facilitate disclosure and self exploration.

This centre needs a newly designed fresh room we have quotes and we need around 2k , to get this done . This could be your sister , mother or grandmother that needs help .
