Chantelle's Wigan and Leigh 5k Colour Run page

In August 2017 we were given the heartbreaking news that my Auntie Maureen had terminal cancer.
We spent the next 7 months making the most wonderful and amazing memories.
In March 2018, she went to stay at Wigan and Leigh hospice where they cared for her for just over 2 weeks. They made sure she was comfortable and looked after her every need. Despite initially not wanting to go there her opinion soon changed and she settled in and was more than happy to spend her last weeks in such a wonderful place.
We went for a walk around the beautiful gardens and we were able to continue making lovely memories right up until she grew her angel wings.
The service at the hospice was beyond amazing. And to be honest, they had a lot to put up with, one day in particular we counted over 40 guests who had come to visit my Auntie.
I would really love to raise some money for this outstanding charity and hopefully help those who may need it next.
