Once again I am joining the Arundel and Brighton Lourdes pilgrimage in July - Aug to care for the sick pilgrims. I believe to help the sick pilgrims in their journey to life or whatever their desires that make them happy is fulfilling and rewarding. This is one of the reasons I would like to do....I care for them and I love them that I would like to walk with them in their journey. 

The Arundel and Brighton Lourdes Pilgrimage  has more than 200 sick pilgrims every year. We have assisted sick pilgrims that needing more care and attention who stay in Accueil or a care home like. In Accueil, We have 3- 4 teams composed of doctors, nurses, helpers and a chaplain. We do rotations including night shifts to help in caring for special pilgrims. The pilgrimage team has to bring its own equipments like hoist/wheelchairs, commodes/ bedpans/urinals, bed sheets/blankets/ pillows, all types of wipes/aprons/gloves, medicines/ oxygen/ nebs/ BM machine/defibrillator and food/meals for the sick pilgrims.  

The Accueil/hospital is catering thousands of assisted sick pilgrims from different places all over the world!
