The Brain and Spine Foundation transforms the daily reality of people affected by any neurological condition, anywhere in the UK, through frontline professional services, innovative social research, and bold campaigning for change.

Story

In mid April 2016, I'll be attempting to run 26.2 miles in the Brighton Marathon.

After taking up running as a hobby and way of keeping fit about two years ago, my goals have grown from plodding through a 5k to catching the marathon bug late last year, and after perhaps slightly too little thought, I signed up for the Brighton marathon and I'm using the opportunity to try and raise some money for a great cause and one that could help any one of us one day.

The Brain and Spine foundation gives support, advice and generally tries to improve the quality of life of people suffering from Neurological conditions. I unfortunately lost my Mum to one of these conditions, and although she could never benefit from their help, you never know when it could be someone like them you need to call on.
