The Prospect Hospice in Wiltshire provides a huge range of care and support to not only individuals but their families and friends too. 

In 2015 I will be doing 12 challenges, one a month to raise money for this amazing charity, who gave an outstanding level of care to our much loved friend Becky and fantastic support to the family during an extremely difficult time. Becky passed away peacefully in the Hospice in October 2014.

Prior to Becky's illness she had done a huge amount of fundraising for this charity, which was close to her heart and she left a fundraising legacy for us all to continue. Please donate what you can to this really great cause.  (Read more below)

January- Dry-athon- COMPLETE 

As I ease into these challenges, Iv decided to start off with a no alcohol month! This is a challenge as I wouldn't say Iv got a drinking problem, but I do love the Cider!

February- Prospect Hospice 10k- COMPLETE

I will join 5 others and run 10k in memory of Becky  this is a Prospect Hospice event so everyone entering knows just how amazing they are.  

March- Walk for Prospect-  30k in 6 hours- COMPLETE

30k along the South West Coastal Path, up hills and along tough terrain to get from A to B in 6 hours.   

April- Cotsworld Spring Classic- 50k Cycle- COMPLETE

50k competition including hills in the Cotsworlds.

May- 2 x 10k- Superhero 10k and Race For Life 10k- COMPLETE 

I shall be running 10k around Regents Park, dressed as a Superhero. As this is my second 10k, I shall be looking to do this in SUB 60 minutes!

I shall also be doing the Race for Life a week later to help fight cancer (taking cash donations for this as its for Cancer Research).

June- Colour Me 5k- COMPLETE 

As Im 30 this month Im going to combine the challenge with something fun, a 5k, but paint thrown at me and my mates all the way round! If you are joining me please don't buy me a birthday pint, donate to here instead!

July- South Coast Triathlon - COMPLETE

As I hit over half way I want to step things up a little and complete my first Triathlon. 250m Swim, 10.k Cycle, 3k Run.    

August- Tough Mudder- COMPLETE

August 23rd would have been Beckys 50th birthday, a group of us will be doing the South West Tough Mudder to remember her.

September- 100K Challenge- COMPLETE

This month I shall be aiming to complete the 100K run Challenge. Running 100k in 31 days.

October- Swindon Half Marathon- COMPLETE

Probably the hardest event of the year, Swindon Half has lots of hills, so please give a few quid. 

November- Swindon 10K- COMPLETE

After a long year I will just be doing one 10k this month. 

December-  Santa Dash 5k - COMPLETE 

I shall finish the year with a 5k Santa Dash with Team Becky and hope that I have hit my target.
