In March 2019, my friend Ellie and I will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, my first ever half marathon. We will be running for the charity Tommy's.

Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth and provide pregnancy information to parents. One in four women lose a baby during pregnancy / birth and Tommy's works towards reducing this statistic, giving parents the best possibility of taking home a happy, healthy baby.

Having a close family member who has experienced this heartache first hand and having a best friend who was born extremely prematurely, I can't think of a better reason to run for this charity.
