St. Mark's Hospital Foundation support innovative medical research & education at St. Mark’s Hospital in Harrow, the world's first specialist bowel hospital In its 180th year, the hospital remains a world-centre of excellence.

I was privileged to work at St Mark's, in the Intestinal Failure Unit for 15 months. I worked with amazing, skilled, compassionate health professionals, and cared for incredible, resilient patients, many of whom had traveled long, difficult journeys due to ill health. I am taking part in the Channel Swim to acknowledge these wonderful people, and to support the fantastic work of the St Mark's Foundation.
