Charlie Geyer Sunflower Sponsored Knit

Hope Jones is raising money for Haemochromatosis UK
In memory of Charlie Geyer
Genetic haemochromatosis (GH) can affect as many as 1 in 10 people in regions of the UK with an estimated 1.2million people at risk of serious ill health. We carry out pioneering research, increase public awareness, provide education to GPs & nurses and support families

Story

Sadly we lost Charlie Geyer in January who was a huge part of our team and a lovely friend to many of us - unfortunately Charlie suffered from Hemochromatosis and battled with this disease for many years, we would like to conduct a fundraiser to donate to the https://www.haemochromatosis.org.uk which helps others in Charlies situation with their illness.

It was known that Charlies favourite flower was a sunflower and blooms are bright as she did, I will be making handmade sunflower stems as a sponsored knit to raise money and awareness of Haemochromatosis.
