Story
Those of you that know me know that I'm not very good at running. My dad even told me that it's offensive to Forrest Gump to say I run like him, so what better way for me to humiliate myself than running through the streets of Manchester.
However, I'm not enduring this humiliation for nothing. If possible I would really apprecaite it if you could donate any amount of money at all to this really worthy cause.
I have chosen this charity as it is something which is close to me and my family. In 2009 my Uncle Roy died suddenly in his sleep from a heart attack and last year we lost my Auntie Jean who had also suffered with heart problems all her life.
Over 750,000 people in the UK suffer from heart failure so I'm hoping that any money I raise will help the BHF to continue with their life- saving research and save more families from losing loved ones.
I can't promise that I'm going to finish in any credible time but I'll give my best and you'll probably find me red-faced and collapsed in a heap at the end!
