Story

The BookTrust Christmas appeal raises money to send book parcels to children who are vulnerable or in care. This year, more so than ever before, there will be children who may not be looking forward to Christmas. Their families might be facing challenging circumstances or significant hardship; and some children may be spending this Christmas away from their families for the first time. Your donation could help brighten Christmas for 14,250 children who are vulnerable or in care - that's 1,800 more children than last year. And for the first time, some parcels will be given out through community foodbanks to help some families who have been adversely affected by lockdowns and who are facing a difficult Christmas.
Like so many of us at times I can feel helpless at this time when so many people are struggling from a year that has been the hardest we have know. I desperately wanted to do something for those that are more in need than most. I have looked through many charities and this one really jumped out at me and made me smile. Christmas can be a wonderful time of the year but for some and particularly children can be extremely hard , so I have picked the book trust Christmas appeal so we can reach out to some Children that may not have the Christmas they would love.
So I thought it only right I should challenge myself for the the book trust and you guys who may kindly donate.. I know its not that long ago that I did a fundraiser and you were all so generous for the Believe Ranch and rescue Centre where we raised over £3000 which Siri and Rebeka saved another horse with part of the donation!!! which made us all so happy!! I am going to ride 400 miles in twenty days and hope that might impress you all a tiny bit , I will drag Mary and Juju out and some friends for a ride here and there if they will come..
Just a small donation would be wonderful I have lots of family and friends so I know I will make my target..
Love and thanks always
