For their New Year's Resolution, the Higgs and Thomas children have decided they would like to raise as much money as possible for a local charity, Newbury Soup Kitchen.  Over the month of January they are each going to complete 100km by walking, running or cycling.  Please help us raise as much as possible for a wonderful charity.  Go Team Higgs & Thomas! 

Jan 2017 Meryl set up Newbury Soup Kitchen It is a voluntary organisation providing help and support to the local homeless, rough sleeper community and those less fortunate. The primary operation is to expand into a friendly drop-in centre for vulnerable adults who perhaps have mental health issues or just lonely. All are greeted with hot food, outreach and advocacy on different sessions throughout the week. HAVEN (West Berkshire) has been set up by Meryl to expand into a Community Support Centre.
