London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I feel very excited, privileged, and slightly scared(!) to be running the London Marathon in April for Dogs Trust.
I have chosen to run and raise money for Dogs Trust because they are a fantastic charity which is very close to my heart. Dogs Trust care for over 15,000 dogs each year throughout their network of rehoming centres, and they never put a healthy dog to sleep. Day in day out they give dogs all over the UK the love, care, veterinary attention, and behavioural support they need, and help them find loving new homes.
As well as rescuing and rehoming dogs in need, Dogs Trust promote responsible dog ownership through youth education, neutering, and microchipping campaigns. They also run the Freedom Project which is a dog fostering service for people who are fleeing domestic abuse, and the Hope Project which provides help with the cost of veterinary treatment for any dog whose owner is homeless.
This is going to be a massive personal challenge for me, but as most of you know animals are my passion, so knowing I'm raising lots of funds to support such vital work will keep me going! Also knowing that you all support me and have faith in me to achieve this means so much, and will definitely help me through the months of training!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for all of your support 💛 🐾
