Sonia (Blod) was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2011.  In June 2012 it was decided that Blod needed to be cared for and looked after professionally and would move to a new home called Hengoed Park in Winch Wen. After spending 2 years at her new home In July 2014 Blod sadly passed away. It was truly heart breaking that my gran did not know who I was. The care that my gran received was fantastic and the family could not have wished for any better.  Which is why I would like to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society so sufferers just like my gran can receive the same fantastic care.
