Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August this year, twenty of my work colleagues and I will be attempting to climb the three highest peaks in Britain.

We begin in Scotland, where we all begin to climb to the top of Ben Nevis - 1343 metres.

Then onto the beautiful Cumbrian countryside where we will climb the slopes of Scafell Pike - 978 metres.

Finally, will head into Wales to contend with Mount Snowdon - 1085 metres.

This will be something completly different for me..... I am used to skiing (and sometimes snowboarding) down the mountains not walking up them!

On 1st April I will also be spending my working day confined to a wheelchair!!

We are climbing for the road safety charity, BRAKE. Brake is a charity and we exist for a simple reason - because every 30 seconds someone, somewhere in the world, is killed in a road crash. The misery of road deaths and injuries, and the pollution of our planet by vehicles, is a shameful epidemic that must end. With your help, Brake campaigns to stop the carnage and supports the victims.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please "dig deep" (not in the snow, in your pocket!) and donate now.

Many Many Thanks,

Charlotte :)
