Story

I have always ran to keep myself fit and healthy, but when the opportunity arose to run for the health of others, especially children, I jumped at the chance.

This will be the first time I compete in a full marathon, but the training and exertion required to prepare pales in comparison to the challenges and risks those afflicted with type one diabetes face every day.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) has been hard at work for over 40 years funding research that has advanced the treatment of those affected by type one diabetes while also working towards a cure, and ultimately a way to prevent type one diabetes in the first place. Click here for more information on this fantastic orginization.

With your help, we can provide hope to diabetic children that a cure might be discovered soon, and in the meantime, we can help them live full, happy and healthy lives.

Thank you for your support!
