On the 12th of August I will be swimming the width of Rutland water to raise money for the Orangutan Foundation. 

All three species of orangutans are critically endangered due to loss, degradation, and fragmentation of their forest habitat. This is largely due to palm oil plantations but other threats include illegal logging, forest fires and mining. 

Orangutan Foundation's work involves:

• Habitat protection and reforestation
• Orangutan translocation and release 
  
• Capacity building and sustainable livelihoods 
• Education and awareness
• Scientific research

Please help me raise funds to support this amazing charity and all that they do for the orangutans.
