Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for GLO.  I was inspired to sign up for this ride after Simon Guillebaud, founder of GLO, came to talk to the young people at St Peter's last Summer - just as I had got planning permission for an extension... His talk showed me so clearly that the money can be used far better in Burundi.  So we started a 6 month DIY challenge to do what was needed to our house (with the help of many friends) in order that we could give more away.

GLO is a remarkable charity pioneering the transformation of Burundi.  Rwanda is called the Land of a Thousand Hills with good reason...apparently some hills are 30kms long... my cycling training has now started and I'm determined to catch up and get fundraising further... 

This is such a worth cause, I want to raise as much as possible.  I am paying all the costs of the trip myself - your donations go direct to GLO where they are most needed, and REMEMBER... any donation WILL make a difference to the lives of these people.
