Story

I really, really hate running. Every second of it. Especially after falling flat on my face - twice - during last year’s 10km Race For Life.

BUT I hate cancer more so I’ve decided to do... my first ever half marathon! Duh Duh Duuuuuuuuh!

On the 17th March I’ll finally be taking on the Bath Half. My little legs have never run so far but this year I’ll give it a bloody good go!

I’ll be running in memory of my darling Auntie Janet, who sadly died in 2002 after an amazingly courageous battle, and  my dear Grandted, who supported my Nanna Doris during her own, happily successful, fight with breast cancer. I’ll also be running in honour of her because she is so amazing and inspires us all.

There will also be other people on my mind - people who won their battles, people who are still bravely and determinedly fighting, and sadly loved ones who are no longer with us. Each of them inspire me to get my little legs moving and the thought of them and their families will keep me going!

So please dig deep and chuck some pounds my way! Massive thank you to everyone for your support (and for listening to me moan about my blisters)

Love Charlotte 💕
