Story

The Macmillan team are amazing both to the cancer patient and their relatives. They really helped my grandfather and made his last wish come true of being able to rest at home. They have provided amazing support to myself and my family over the last few months too.

On March 11th 2014 my grandfather David Waxman unfortunately lost his battle to cancer. He fought with cancer for 5 years to see me through university. True to his nature he never complained. My grandfather brought me up and was a father to me since the day I was born.  He taught me everything I know, such as riding a bike, he helped me get into grammar school and university and taught me some of the most amazing life lessons which I will keep in my heart forever. He was the most modest, kind, hard - working man I have ever known and I hope that if I can be half of what he has been in his lifetime.

Therefore, it is only appropriate in his memory to raise money for the team that helped him through the tough end to his leukemia.

Please help me raise money for this amazing charity, so that other people can benefit from their help.
