Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page (it was worth the click we promise). After the loss of my lovely friend and colleague Katy Reading in October last year, it drilled home the importance of mental health.

We have decided to run the Nottingham Half Marathon (well we aim to run...however it could just be us panting around the course!) in order to raise money for Mind. Mental Health is something that NEEDS more resource and more awareness. Mind are a charity dedicated to provide support and advice to those battling with Mental Health issues, and can hopefully help others like Katy.  

So in her name and memory, we want to help make that change so that there are adequate levels of support for those battling with Mental Health. Let's fight this together, with your help change will come!

Considering we can hardly run for 2 minutes let alone 13.1 miles we'll be giving it our all! If you could spare any money (even 1p would be appreciated) for this worthy charity that would be amazing and we'd love you for life. If we can help just one person living with mental health problems, and prevent just one person from taking their own life, then that's a job well done.

--> £21 could fund an hour of Elefriends, Mind's amazing and vital online community that provides peer support to tens of thousands of people
