Chloe's First Half-Marathon

Morrisons Great Birmingham Run 2015 · 18 October 2015 ·
I am actually running for two charities and intend to split all donations between Mind and NC TLC Trust.
I want to run for Mind since they are a vital support to many suffering a mental illness. Nobody should have to feel that they aren't worth anything or that nobody cares about them, and nobody should ever have to go through a mental illness alone. Mind is a charity that promotes the right attitude to mental illness, not sweeping it under the carpet or trivialising it, and working with those affected, guiding them towards the end of a tunnel that they maybe thought didn't have an end.
I also want to run for NC TLC Trust, a local Northamptonshire charity that works with child cancer patients and their families, providing financial, practical and emotional support for not just the child but their whole family. That support could be anything from buying a teenage cancer patient a wig that their family could not afford, to providing family counselling if the unimaginable strikes. So many people suffer from cancer and when ever anything happens to a child it seems a hundred times worse. I want to be able to say I have helped in not only the fight against cancer, but the road to recovery and the final 'all clear'.
