My friend Julia and I have decided to walk the marathon distance of 42km along our local Jurassic Coast from Weymouth to Bridport this July 2018. 

I am raising money for a cause close to my heart, The Amyloidosis Research Fund based at University College London. My Mum was diagnosed with Amyloidosis in 2003. 

Amyloidosis is a life-limiting and life-threatening disease where abnormal protein produced in the bone marrow builds up in tissues and organs all over the body. The Amyloidosis Research Fund is working to develop treatments and ultimately find a cure for this deadly illness.
