Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's a sad reality that these days most of us have lost a loved one to cancer. Too recently our dear friend Mutley (Nicolas Cox) passed away due to cancer and we, The Wacky Racers, have decided to jump on our bikes and cycle from London to Brighton in order to raise money for the hospice that took such great care of him from beginning to end; St Clare’s Hospice in Hastingwood, Essex (http://www.stclarehospice.org.uk/).
Mutley received such amazing care and support at the hospice and it was this level of kindness and consideration for our friend and his family that made such a lasting impression on us all. Mutley was certainly one of the wacky racers in life and we're determined to ride in his memory and raise as much as we can for St Clare's so that they can continue to help those suffering from cancer and their families.
The ride (The Great Race) will take place in just two weeks (!!) on Saturday 6th September. Please donate whatever you can to help St Clare’s and by extension, help us to honour the memory of our friend who’s life and love has inspired so many of us.
Thank you so much!
